A lot has changed about communications and collaboration technology in that time, so it should come as no surprise that over the years, some products are replaced, retired, or renamed as we introduce, combine or innovate others. What happened to Mitel MiVoice Office 250? 

Mitel announced the end of sale and end of life timeline for the MiVO250 system in January of 2022. This affects all MiVoice Office systems (HX Controller and the associated marketing kits which include this controller), line cards, trunk cards, and software licenses. Broader MiVoice components such as Attendant console, PS-1, and CT Gateway will also be impacted.

What happened to MiCloud Enterprise?

MiCloud Enterprise was renamed MiCloud Flex.

What happened to the Mitel Call Recording Solution?

Mitel announced the discontinuation of the Mitel Call Recording solution in October 2020 with an end-of-sale date of February 2021. There is no direct replacement for this. However, for premise systems we recommend Hansen Software, whom we have partnered with since 2018, for call accounting & call recording solutions. For cloud or virtual systems, we recommend a RingCentral system which offers these options within the system.

What happened to MiCloud Contact Center?
MiCloud Enterprise Contact Center is now MiCloud Flex Contact Center

 

What happened to MiCloud Engage Contact Center?

Mitel is no longer actively selling MiCloud Engage Contact Center as a new system. Mitel is honoring existing commitments for this system. If you don't already have a commitment for this system, and/or are interested in something similar, the best alternative or replacement for MiCloud Engage Contact Center is MiCloud Connect CX

 

What happened to Mitel phones and accessories?

What happened to Mitel Aastra 9116LP Analog Phone?

Mitel announced the discontinuation of the Mitel 9116LP Analog Phone in November 2019 with an end-of-sale date of April 2020. There is no direct replacement for this phone, as Mitel no longer manufactures or supports analog devices. Due to this new limitation we have partnered with Bittel Americas to offer a full line of analog devices for our hospitality and retirement facilities,. 

What happened to Mitel 5312, 5320 & 5324 IP Phones?

Mitel announced the discontinuation of the Mitel 5312, 5320 & 5324 IP Phones in September 2019 with an end-of-sale date of March 2020. Mitel replaced these phones with the 6910, 6920 & 6930 IP Phones respectively.

What happened to Mitel 5320, 5330 & 5340 IP Phones?

Mitel replaced these phones with the 5320e, 5330e & 5340e IP Phones (respectively) which offered GIG speeds.

 

What happened to Mitel 5324, 5360 & 5505 IP Phones?

Mitel announced the discontinuation of the Mitel 5312 & 5320 IP Phones in August 2018 with an end-of-sale date of December 2018. Direct replacement for the 5324 IP Phone will be the 6930 IP Phone. Direct replacement for the 5360 IP Phone will be the 6940 IP Phone. Direct replacement for the 5505 IP Phone will be the 5304 IP Phone.

What happened to Mitel 5320e, 5330e & 5340e IP Phones?

Mitel announced the discontinuation of the Mitel 5320e, 5330e & 5340e IP Phones in November 2022 with an end-of-sale date of November 2023. Mitel replaced these phones with the 6920w, 6930w & 6940w IP Phones respectively.

What happened to Mitel 5300 DECT Headset?

Mitel retired the 5300 series DECT Headset with the retirement of the 5324 IP Phone. The direct replacement would include the purchase of a 6900 series phone and the 6900 series DECT headset. Another option would be to utilize our headset partner at T3E who are experts in matching your needs with the user's Mitel phone and system type.
